COVID-19 POLICY

Covid 19 was an international pandemic and Botswana Government has taken this challenge head on to protect the livelihood of her citizens. Diamond Spectrum likewise complies with all the requirements, regulations and guidelines as stipulated. These include amongst others:

  • Wearing of masks and avoiding hand shakes and hugs.
  • Washing hands with soap and sanitizer
  • Keeping a social distance of 2 meters.
  • Continual temperature checks and monitoring.
  • Reporting any flu-like symptoms to supervision and health officials.
  • Testing and self isolation when arriving from high risk areas.

Management is committed to zero harm. If the work is not safe, it will not be done until it has been made safe. The Health of our employees is key and is supported by periodic medical assessment aimed at ensuring sustainability. Environmental protection is key in all our activities. Continual Environmental Risk Assessments are conducted to minimise adverse impacts at every site we work.

We recognize the magnitude and severity of the development of HIV/AIDS pandemic in Botswana. We offer our employees comprehensive education on positive and health living strategies.
